Callee Jo is a photographer from Pittsburgh, PA, who is currently in her senior year at the Maryland Institute College of Art, located in Baltimore,MD. She is earning her BFA in photography, and will be graduating this coming May of 2019. Her work is heavily based on the themes of femininity and domesticity within the landscape. She is interested in portraying emotions of intimacy and vulnerability within my photographs, typically by constructing scenes, but also by working with a humans positioning in the environment, accentuating these ideas and emotions. Through her work she strives to constantly challenge the stereotypes of landscape photography and what it means to be a woman working in this field.
